                          A Divine Strategy: Biblical Feasts

Can you buy your way into the kingdom of heaven? Of course not (Psalm 49:7-9) but you can make sacrifices for others to be brought in. When you consider your finances and good spiritual investments, what comes to mind? I don't think you can find a more worthy cause than to leverage our giving through the great commission for an eternal impact. We only have one chance at this life. For many people the way they have used their money will be loathsome to them when they face the Lord on judgement day. (see the parable of the 10 minas Luke 19:11-27) But through the Word of God we can apply redeeming principles and start to see money in a different light.  You start to imagine the souls that can potentially be saved with the wise use of your dollars. Here is an example;

When Brian Barcelona was a teenager in High School he was approached by his Christian friend who invited him to Church to learn about Jesus. Brian responded with a "no thank you, I don't want anything to do with your silly religion". It seemed to be a closed door encounter. The power of persuasion through a friendly invitation failed to get the desired results.

But then his friend thought of a simple idea to persuade him. He offered to buy him a Jamba Juice if he would come. Brian's high esteem of Jamba Juice caused him to change his mind and he went with his friend to Church. Brian heard a powerful message that day and gave his life to Jesus. Now he leads a ministry called "The Jesus Club" in several Los Angeles Schools. That was a highly profitable $3.95 investment for his evangelist friend...  There is a very simple but powerful biblical principle at work here.  "A gift opens the way and ushers the giver into the presence of the great." Proverbs 18:16  ...Use worldly wealth to gain friends for yourselves so that when it is gone, you will be welcomed into eternal dwellings. Luke 16:9 

After doing the 3 virtual crusades in the Kyaka refugee camps of Uganda in 2022 Wesley and his Church are taking a break from fundraising and doing all the logistics required for a 10,000 person crusade. In the mean time I am providing the funds for doing monthly feasts according to Luke 14:12 and the Gospel is also preached. Pastor Felix also did 7 baptisms.
